Checked Shoreham at 1:30 and it looked pretty sweet with little ramps and big gaps and lots of wind. Quite busy by then, so I thought I'd check see if Tim was at the next beach along. No windysurfers, only 3-4 kites out, including james 007 going large. Thought I'd join them and as I pulled kit from the car, Tim and WC rolled up and were up for it too. I was going to rig my 5m², but sad to find I'd left it at home drying! No choice but to go for 4.5m instead, but as fate often does on these days, it was bang on for the next 2-3 hours.

Little waves here too with the tide low, amazing for jumps and within 15 mins I'd cracked another RRD. I may try and fix this one so stopped using it after a few more runs. JP RWW83 instead and it was alright, soon got used to its style/size again.

As predicted, the cross shore wind soon built and the swell stood up more and got into the waist to chest realm. WC shot off to Shoreham while Tim and I found the zone just downwind of the kites. Probably had 30 or more rides, in fact maybe only about 10 inside gybes without at least one downwind carve. Arms like noodles and legs and ankles cramping up. Nothing life threatening out there, but great entertainment indeed.
